Strømline exists because we automated our own business first, and discovered how much of a company's week can be handed to systems that do not forget, do not get busy and do not take leave. We build the same discipline for others.

We run a business too.

Its enquiries are answered in minutes, its quotations go out the same day, and its follow-ups have not been missed once since the systems went live. We know what breaks at month end because it is our month end as well. Everything on this site was built for ourselves before it was offered to anyone else.

Cargo has moved through this estuary for four thousand years.

We work from North Ferriby on the Humber, where the oldest plank-built boats found in Europe were lifted from the foreshore. Moving things efficiently is a local tradition. We have simply changed the cargo, and we take on a limited number of builds at a time so that each one is done properly.

Three sewn-plank boats are abandoned on the Ferriby foreshore. Rediscovered in 1937, they remain the oldest of their kind found in Europe.

1981

The Humber Bridge opens, joining two banks that had spent four thousand years facing each other across the water. For seventeen years it was the longest single span in the world. Connecting things that were built apart is the local trade. It is also ours.

2026
